I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Target (Phoenix, AZ) in Feb 2016
Interview
It was brief and very organized. The person interviewing me knew what she was doing. She was the store manager. It was only 20 minutes long. She mostly asked simple questions. I had a group inter view with 5 people and then was asked to wait and got a second interview. I got hired.

Question 1
They asked me to describe a time where a customer got upset with me, what did I do?
It was two interviews. The first one was a recorded interview for 15 minutes and the second interview was in person. The questions were very similar. It is common questions that they would ask for being in retail.
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
