I submitted applications for Targets all around Fresno. About 2 weeks later I went into one and gave the manager my resume. I think maybe 2 weeks after that I finally got a phone call to schedule an interview. They interview several people on the same day so you have to pick a time to be interviewed. Once I got there they had me take a short assessment test and then I had to wait while the manager interviewed someone ahead of me. The interview consisted of 2 one on one interviews, the first by the hiring manager and the second by the manager of the sales floor team. They ask a ton of behavioral and psychological questions plus work related situations and how you would solve them. They were very nice and comforting. After the interview they told me to wait for a call in order to be told if I got the job. However about 6 days later I got an email saying I didn't get the job. I was heartbroken.

Name a time when you had to take another person's skills in account in order to complete a task together.
The interview were very straightforward and the atmosphere was relaxed. I spoke with a shift lead and then the HR manager. The questions were typical and there was some discussions.
This was a few years ago, but I just went in and spoke with the manager in their office. Very casual and quick interview. Only 1 interview was required which was nice!

It was very quick and I was hired on immediately. I was a college student going to TAMU Galveston at the time. The team was pretty easy going but just not there to help me grow as an individual.
