Submitted a cover letter and resume. Had to take some sort of GRE-style test -- it was difficult (for a liberal arts major who hasn't used a calculator in four years), pretty sure I blew it. So go over your basic y over x math.
So after that, I initially didn't make it to the interview round -- I was an alternate. Luckily, come my later time to sign up for interview slots, there was one open. Pretty specific behavioral questions: Reviewers here are right, be prepared to describe Situation--Action--Result -- the interviewer's notes are even set up in that 3-column fashion. Anyway, just tried to connect, be funny/confident/enthusiastic but clear (after every anecdote I summarized each key point).
The industry-specific, case-esque question near the end (if you were a buyer for a target, how would you decide what new products to by) was the most industry-specific one. Pretty sure I aced it. Not because I know anything about business, but I'd gone to a few info sessions for consulting info sessions, so I had some basic frameworks in mind (market-sizing, profitability...and I'm sure there are others). So that might be useful.
Anyway, stuff's still in progress. They're flying me out to Minneapolis for a office visit interview at the end of the week. Will tell you how it goes!
