I've applied to my local Target at least 6 times. About two weeks ago I applied again, and a few days later I got a call that if I was still interested they would like to set up a phone interview. I accepted, so about 3 days later I had the phone interview. It was about 20 minutes long, and the women I spoke to was very nice. She asked me about my availability (which was completely open, that's why I think I got the interview), why I wanted to work at Target, what my strength and weaknesses are. And she asked me three situational questions which I was completely prepared for because of Glassdoor. She asked me (Tell me a time where you exceeded someones exceptions, a time when you had to finish a task in a short amount of time, and time me a time you worked as team successfully). After that she gave me an interview for a few days later. Where she told me I'd meet with two other managers. So, a few days later I went in for the interview. I dressed very professional which I think they liked, and I was asked to take a quick questionnaire with behavioral questions where you pick which solution would be best and which solution would be worse. After that I spoke to the first manager (or team lead) and about my availability again, why I wanted to work at Target and one situational question (Tell me a time you realized you were making a mistake in the middle of a task) and two hypothetical questions (A women tries to find a shoe for her son, we don't have it in stock what do you do and a item rings up 19.99 and the customer says it was 17.99 what do you do). Then lastly I spoke to the branch manager, and he asked me mostly about myself very quick and very casual. I was then taken to HR where they gave me the location to take my drug test, what the starting rate was and she told me when I pass my drug test she'll email me about orientation/training. Overall, it was much more simple than I thought.
