I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Dorchester, MA) in Sep 2012
Interview
The interview process was pretty easy. Mainly because it was a seasonal position.I had to can to check the status of my application. Then they called me again and I had an on phone interview that asked me the basic questions interviewers ask like "what does customer service means to you?", "are you able to stand for this amount of time?", "are you able to life this much". Then I had a second interview (this one was face to face) where they asked me question that was based more on my personality. After that my interviewer offered me a seasonal job and said it could be made permanent if we believe you are qualified. you have to do a drug test the next day. Then I had orientation a week later to meet some of the other new employees, understand the rules of the job, and they gave us a tour around the store. Then I had to wait two week to start. My first day they gave me basic training in all the positions and I meet one of my supervisors. Then the next day I got more training with my position and then started working.

Question 1
There weren't any hard questions but the hardest one was " can you name a time when you and a person you didn't like had to work together?".
The interview were very straightforward and the atmosphere was relaxed. I spoke with a shift lead and then the HR manager. The questions were typical and there was some discussions.
This was a few years ago, but I just went in and spoke with the manager in their office. Very casual and quick interview. Only 1 interview was required which was nice!

Question 1
Tell us about a time when you had to interact with customers
It was very quick and I was hired on immediately. I was a college student going to TAMU Galveston at the time. The team was pretty easy going but just not there to help me grow as an individual.
