I arrived about 45 mins early & was asked to wait in the starbucks area until someone from HR came out. There were 2 other people besides myself who were waiting. My interview was set for 9 am so about at 9:05 someone came out to get all of us and we were lead into the back where we were given an assessment test and watched a short video which basically explained what the position entitled. Halfway into the assessment test one of the HR managers came and brought us upstairs to have 1:1 interviews. I had an EXTREMELY nice woman interview me, she mainly asked behavioral question, what would I do in a certain situation questions, Why Target, Tell me about yourself, strengths, weaknesses, etc. She actually seemed interested in my responses she wrote them down as well. After about 30-40 mins she shook my hand and asked me to wait in the waiting area. Someone else who was also being interviewed by another HRM was asked to wait as well then she walked up to him asked him how he thought his interview went and he said he thought it went terribly and he was extremely nervous, she then thanked him for his time and went on to explain that someone will be contacting him in regards to whether or not he got the job in 7-10 business days. I got a little nervous after hearing that. She then walked up to me, asked how did I think I did, I said I felt I did great and the woman who interviewed me was very nice. She then asked me to follow her to her desk where she offered me the JOB! Right there on the spot I was sooooo happy (I even told her that) she then went over pay information uniform policy, as well as my availiability and explained how I needed to go have a drug test taken within 24 hours and pass my background check and if everything checked out I will be going to orientation next week! Had to be the easiest/best interview I have ever been on!
