I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target in May 2013
Interview
I applied for two different locations online. The first location called me and set me up with a phone interview, but when the time came, I never received a call. They called me that night to apologize and reschedule the appointment for a few days later. In the meantime, the second location called me to confirm that I was already being interviewed by the first location and so took my name off of their own list. The first location failed to call me for a phone interview on the rescheduled date as well. I had already accepted a different job offer, so I didn't bother to try and explore the situation further. It was very unprofessional and very rude.
The interview were very straightforward and the atmosphere was relaxed. I spoke with a shift lead and then the HR manager. The questions were typical and there was some discussions.
It was very quick and I was hired on immediately. I was a college student going to TAMU Galveston at the time. The team was pretty easy going but just not there to help me grow as an individual.

Question 1
How to handle certain situations that would happen in the real world revolving around a customer.
This was a few years ago, but I just went in and spoke with the manager in their office. Very casual and quick interview. Only 1 interview was required which was nice!
