Process took about 2-3 weeks. A series of 5 interviews (2 of which were phone interviews) I met one of the CEO's of target, and he asked me to apply for the positions, they hire right out of college and pay pretty well for someone just graduating (50,000). I had an initial interview with a recruiter, he asked general questions *why target, what will i bring to the table, etc, then he assigned me to interview at a store near my house with a current manager. He was great, taught me a lot about the position and asked me questions like "what were your other managers like, what was the most difficult situation you've been it, tell me about a time you had to take over a group, tell me about a time you made a mistake at your job or school He was great, next I had to meet with another store manager and a district store manager one right after another. The DM was pretty intimidating, and I got pretty nervous, but I guess all went well. This interview was on a thursday morning at 8. By monday I got a call from the Admin in corporate scheduling my last phone interview for a couple days later, but after we hung up I got a call from the hiring manager i initially spoke to formally offering me the position! After the offer, I had 24 hours to complete the drug test, and was supposed to do this quiz online that was very difficult and timed. I know i didn't do well on it, but i guess it doesn't matter! If you google "situational interview questions/answers" they do a great job of preparing you for what they ask. they all begin with "tell me about a time..." Don't forget you can bring a notepad with answers already drawn out! Target seems like a great company, and I can't wait to begin!
