I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Charlotte, NC) in Oct 2010
Interview
Avery pleasant setting. There were approximately eight other people waiting for an interview at the same time as I. We took another computer personality/behavioral test (what would you do and what have you done, how would you react?) before the one on one interviews.
Firstly I was interviewed by a Team leader, asked standard scenario questions, asked to speak a little about my self, then why I would like to work at Target. This took around ten to fifteen minutes, then I was told i would be interviewed by and exec.
After a short wait the execs came through and the second interview began. Once again standard questions about self, how did I think my first interview went and about how my previous work experience would help in this job. If I could change or add anything to/about a procedure in my other job, what would that be.
This seemed lengthier than the first and I honestly had thought it had gone well.
I got and email three days later stating they could not offer me a position.
It would be nice to be given some clue as to why, especially so a person can maybe learn from whatever errors were deemed as point deductible during the whole process, or if my availability had been the downer (I had only wanted part time).

Question 1
Talk about a mistake you have made during the course of your career and what you did about it.
The interview were very straightforward and the atmosphere was relaxed. I spoke with a shift lead and then the HR manager. The questions were typical and there was some discussions.
This was a few years ago, but I just went in and spoke with the manager in their office. Very casual and quick interview. Only 1 interview was required which was nice!

Question 1
Tell us about a time when you had to interact with customers
It was very quick and I was hired on immediately. I was a college student going to TAMU Galveston at the time. The team was pretty easy going but just not there to help me grow as an individual.
