Found that this Target location was hiring by checking the job listings on their website, got a call back and did a phone interview. Then did an in person interview with an HR person and the store's general manager, and was hired a couple days later. Not too many questions, I was actually kind of surprised.

What would you do if a customer said that something was cheaper than it came up on the register?
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
It was interesting. Not hard at all, straightforward, and pretty open people. It was an okay interview and what you’d typically expect. So don’t stress stress it, I mean kinda try your best
