I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Target (San Mateo, CA) in Oct 2010
Interview
filled out an online application and the next day they called me in for an interview. On the actual interview day first did a skills test while waitin for my first interview and then after the first one did a second one and met with one of the managers. both interviewers liked me so they decided to offer me the job, just had to take the drug test and then come back the next day and meet with the general manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
basically just 5 scenarion questions and then they ask you about availability.
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
It was interesting. Not hard at all, straightforward, and pretty open people. It was an okay interview and what you’d typically expect. So don’t stress stress it, I mean kinda try your best
