TaskUs posted the position as "remote" and after preliminary interview steps they shared the position was not remote but hybrid with 3 days a week in office... in Texas. I do not live in Texas and had cleared my schedule for the interview follow up so I was disappointed and had to decline. It felt so off to start a working relationship with a lie.

Clarifying the deceptive tactics to lure in a bigger pool of applicants by posting it as remote... only to disclose it's hybrid with 3 days a week on site.
It was over the phone and I found out the position would be in Austin instead of San Antonio as listed on the job posting. Also, the pay was lower than what appeared on Glassdoor.
