Firstly it was an online test and then an interview on google meet.
They had an online test with aptitude, logical, verbal and technical things. Lasted about 1.5 hours.
then after 2-3 months they announced a list with interview schedule.
interview lasted for 30 -45 mins.
The hr team in tata chemicals is really inexperienced, the hr team was very lazy they always delay the things. company is also always encouraged female candidates.

Interview
The whole on-campus hiring process was smooth with maintained transparency between company HR team & candidates. Schedules were strictly adhered to and informed well before-hand on time. It consisted of 2 rounds:
Round-1: Online Assessment (both aptitude & domain-based); 80questions in 90minutes
Round-2: Online Interview (average 20-25minutes per head)
Say something about your approach in the ideation contest? What things did you actually focus on? (based on my CV)
What is circular economy? Do you consider recycling processes as a part of circular economy?
MT: What is range & approach in a cooling tower? What are the probable losses that occur there?
How does drying rate vary with time in a dryer?
What is minimum & optimum reflux in distillation? State the difference.
HT: What is tube-pitch in a SnT heat exchanger? What is LMTD? What is its significance? Tell the difference between LMTD values for counter-current & co-current configurations.
