The interview process was pretty relaxed and cool since it was a campus interview. The Interviewers were very polite and friendly. The process starts with a self introduction of the candidate, and their hobbies, their favorite subject in college, etc. At my campus, the technical, HR and MR interviews were merged into one single session. The technical lead who interviewed me asked me about my programming skills, level of proficiency etc. I was asked to write a code snippet that would calculate the sum of all number starting from one to one hundred, which is quite easy and I was able to deliver the same. They mostly look at how you approach the problem and how you write the algorithm, and are least bothered about the language or syntax. There were a few questions from one of my college subjects and were quite easy to answer. The thing to watch out here is, to be polite, straight-forward, confident and not beat around the bush. They are completely fine if you do not know the answer to a question and convey the same to them. The HR gave me a few puzzles to solve, I was able to solve most of them, and told her I couldn't solve the last one. She solved the final one for me. Finally, the process was over and I received an offer from TCS.
