Initially there was an aptitude and email synthesis rounds. Both the rounds were pretty easy and direct. General logical and mathematical reasoning questions were asked. In email synthesis we are asked to write a formal letter. Those clearing will move to interview. There were 3 interviews-tech, managerial and HR. I was asked mainly based on the resume in tech interview. First question was to introduce. I highlighted my achievements and experiences. As I had done a few non academic projects, I was asked to explain how it's done. They had a few questions to check the skills mentioned in resume. Another question was about the latest technology in IT industry. I briefed a few things I know about cloud computing, BigData and Internet of Things. Tech interview lasted about 7-8min. Managerial interview was actually another tech interview for me. Questions from core electrical subjects were asked. And then again from resume a few questions on embedded. It lasted 5min. HR interview was purely very informal. Introduce myself, hobbies, family and why chose TCS are the questions. Main thing I focused was to keep on talking. I asked about the tools and softwares and the kind of job to be done. It was more of a interaction than an HR interview. Overall it was a great experience and fortunately I was recruited as Asst. Systems Engineer. Hope this finds useful :)
