Question 1
You are stuck on a desert island with 30 items but you must only use 7, which ones and why?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tech Data (Tampa, FL) in Jan 2020
Interview
An invitation to do a pre recorded video interview answering dome questions for my web camera, followed by a zoom interview, followed by an onsite interview.
Durring the final interview, compensation and work/life balance was discussed. The way this topic was addressed made me almost walk out of the interview. I was told point blank that there was an expectation that I would work well beyond a standard work week but that compensation would be capped regardless of how much i exceeded sales quotas. This translates to the better I perform, the less money I make.
Thank you but no thank you.
This interview was in 2020 and I have just been emalied and "invited" by Tech Data to apply to another position.
Sorry, but the value proposition of working 60-80 hour weeks for a negatively correlated pay package just doesn't quite exite me. Thanks but no thanks..
