I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Tech Data (Clearwater, FL) in Sep 2011
Interview
The interview process was pretty straight forward. HR was very efficient. Getting to the next level required knowing someone on the inside to get you to the hiring manager. I had 4 interviews and then there was a delay of about 3 months before hiring. This was relatively an entry level position. I was introduced to several team members and showed where and how I would work. They do require a background check but do not believe that certain types of offenses would exclude you from being hired.

Question 1
I was interviewed by a senior engineer and he asked some pretty complex questions which I could not answer but I came back with my own questions so it all worked out.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Tech Data (Clearwater, FL) in Sep 2017
Interview
One way computer HR interview with Generic Questions about how you deal with customers and some personal questions followed by 2 person phone interview with the Hiring manager and Technical Staff. This was for the Cisco Role.
One month and a week later they still did not get back to me despite mailing them repeatedly. Huge companies like TechData don't value a person's time. I understand if everyone can't be reached after a one way initial screening but it's utterly disrespectful of the company to be knee-deep in the process and not update the candidate with any decision a month later.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tech Data (Saint Petersburg, FL) in Mar 2016
Interview
I applied online. I then got the request for the video interview. I followed the advice on here from others that this was like a live interview so dress professional, get prepared, and have your answers ready as if it were live. I then got a call from HR to schedule a phone interview and then traveled to Clearwater for a live interview. I then had once final phone interview.
