      Marketing Interview

      Oct 24, 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Nashville, TN
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TechnologyAdvice (Nashville, TN) in Aug 2019

      Interview

It's a lengthy process: online application, recorded video interview, phone interview, skills assessment, in-person interview, and in-person skills assessment. They really want to make sure you're serious about the position, you know your stuff and that your personality meshes well with the team. Don't let this deter you! Everyone was great to meet with and HR was there to answer all my questions. I had five days to complete the skills assessment. The in-person interview was long and thorough about work experience and relevant skills. It also had "get to know you" questions sprinkled in between. The in-person skills assessment (aka test drive) gives you a great feel for what your day-to-day could look like as well as an opportunity to meet your potential coworkers. You also meet with the CEO on that day. The test drive is a standard requirement across all departments and lasts about five hours (including lunch).

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TechnologyAdvice (Nashville, TN) in May 2020

      Interview

4 step process: video/phone interview, assessment, in-person interview, and "test-drive". 3-week process only to be told at the 3rd step that interns start at $12/hr. If you're going to put stressed-out applicants through this rigor, don't pay the same amount they can make at Walmart.
