First stage with an internal recruiter, easy enough. Second stage with a team leader and a COO, fairly deep questions but very repetitive. Third stage was an incredibly in depth task which took me over 3-4 hours to complete, I expected a task but not this in depth. Within a couple of hours of submitting my task, I received an acknowledgement from the recruiter that the task had been received. BUT within 15 minutes of this email, I received a rejection letter - very much AI scripted and without any tone or human voice. I emailed the recruiter to see if this was the case, and she reiterated that this shouldnt have been the case and that I was still under review...suspect. Within an hour of that email, the recruiter then emailed me inviting me to a final stage interview the next day! WOOHOO, or so I thought... Late in the evening UK time, I recieved a cancellation of the meeting for the next day and an email from the recruiter stating that "I wanted to reach out and let you know that due to changes in business needs we will be closing the Sales and Account Executive position, and I have canceled the upcoming interview." Really negative feedback, I have since asked for some compensation of time, or something to go with the work I have put in and rigerous interviews...yet to hear anything. Very angry
