One interview call via phone. Said they would get back to me for next steps. Waited 5 days, after following up for status, there was no reply. Only until 2 weeks later, sent me an email saying 'We regret to inform you that we do not feel you are a right match for us this time'. At this point, waiting 2.5+ weeks, when I have moved onto other job offers at this point, why bother sending an email. Even if there is no progress during the first week, it is better to inform the candidate as early as possible, so we can prioritise our offers.
