I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Techstars (London, England) in Jun 2017
Interview
The process was purely remote, but appropriate since the programme scales up before the beginning and scales down at the end of each programme.
There was one call interview with the programme manager for half an hour, followed by 3 to 4 previous associate interviews and a final recap call interview by the PM before a decision is made
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interview questions are very strict.
They want to know why we want to be an associate, what skills we can offer, how we approach our field of expertise to 11 constant requests from 11 different companies, What we know about TechStars and how we plan to be involved, how we approach certain challenges and how we make sure we work dynamically across different teams with ease.
lots of rounds but not overly formal - you meet every person you'll report to
Had my 4 rounds over 1 week - but the online part made it relatively easier
got stuck in emails and never even ended up getting a real interview schedule. spoke with someone but it was about one of their old accelerators and i now have to wait a year to apply again, overqualified so was just frsutrated/confused why not at least interview? wish they explained why moving on.
three round of interviews with Program Manager, Program manager from another program, the head of the program, followed by a practical test to simulate a task from the job role
