It was a process of 5 interviews. One of my interviews was in the paint section of home depot. During that interview and conversation, it came to light that this “Marketing and Sales” internship was quite literally being a home depot worker- working out of their aisle in home depot and wearing an apron. It strongly resembles a pyramid scheme. My sister has a best friend who was hired by them and signed a lease for a place in a new city that she began work in. They conducted a giant wave of lay-offs and she was left without work to pay for an expensive cost of living situation with the promise of having a job and getting it taken away from her as soon as she started.
