I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tekmetric in Mar 2024
Interview
Smooth and consistent. I had 5 interviews over the course of 2 weeks. Efficient scheduling, and flexible with my schedule as well. A good mix of culture, technical, and strategy/tactical questions. They were very transparent with the company, including how they work, company strategy, and growth opportunities.

If you were to bring a new product to market, how would I think about that. Including research, stakeholder communications, betas or pilots, release, and measuring success.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Tekmetric
Interview
I applied online with a referral. I heard from a Tekmetric recruiter within a couple of days. After the recruiter screen I was invited to interview with the hiring manager, who said to me that he thought he had looked at my resume the day before but didn't have it in front of him and did not ask any questions or make any comments that indicated he had retained any info from my resume. After meeting with the hiring manager I did not hear back for over a month, and was not invited to further steps.

Question 1
The recruiter's questions were standard behavioral / STAR questions.
The hiring manager asked some expected questions and a few somewhat strange hypotheticals and interrupted me more than a few times (e.g., when I described tracking recurring revenue (among a list of specifics) as part of a dashboard he interrupted me to say "So MRR?"). He asked what I'd put on a metrics dashboard if I were the CEO of a real app that I use often, what I'd change about that app and why, how I'd handle a dip in renewals or satisfaction, and then to imagine that I was going to launch the app's competitor (while apparently still the original app's CEO) and describe how I'd approach building it and how I'd get a CTO to sign on with me.
