First interview round went well. We discussed specific skills, tasks, and compensation for the position. It seemed like a great fit. Then came the second round interview with HR. As is typical with HR, this one was full of loaded questions and mind games. However, the salary HR mentioned in this interview was much lower than the salary we had discussed in the previous interview. The role responsibilities HR mentioned didn't quite match what I discussed earlier, either. It seems as though this company isn't really sure of what they want, or what they have to offer.
