I applied online. I interviewed at Teknor Apex (Henderson, KY) in Nov 2020
Interview
I interviewed for a color matching lab tech position in Henderson. I immediately took the Farnsworth Munsell 100 hue test and then was interviewed in a firing squad fashion from a printout by the would-be supervisor. The questions were very standard and impersonal. The entire process was very brief, I'd guess an hour tops including testing time.
I had worked in color for years and taken this test with exceptional scoring previously. When I called to follow-up on my interview I was told I'd been eliminated from the pool because I had failed the test. I took the test again the same week at another prospective employer and again scored exceptional on their test. I'm not sure if the test here is old and invalid or if I was discriminated against for some reason, but I ultimately felt cheated.
