I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Tekzenit (Irving, TX) in May 2014
Interview
A current employee (former classmate) referred me to apply for the UX position. We had a casual informational interview and a couple of days later, I sent him my resume and portfolio. I was then emailed a 24 hour test to identify and evaluate the usability of a website and create a mock presentation for stakeholders. A few days later, I was emailed to come in for an in-person interview.
When I came in for the interview, there was no one to greet me and I had to wait 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me (I came 10 minutes early). Once the office manager saw me, she told me it'd be a little longer and I continued to wait for another 10 minutes. She came back and told me the meeting is cancelled due to a schedule conflict. I was very disappointed at the professionalism considering I had cleared the day and driven 30 minutes to the interview.
I was out of town the following week so we rescheduled a Skype interview. The interviewer apologized for the incident and we just discussed past work experience and expectations. When I returned from my trip, we scheduled a lunch meet and greet with a few team members and did an office walk through. After the walk through, we went into a small conference room where I had to do a 20 minute white board challenge. This open-ended challenge provide a good framework to evaluate one's level of experience with UX.
Three days later, HR called to discuss salary and then emailed an offer letter.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Tekzenit
Interview
I met Tekzenit at our school career fair for an informal 15 minute interview. The interview was a casual conversation about my graphic design work and previous work experience. Both my interviewees were young and amiable, leaving me with a positive first impression of Tekzenit. I was contacted a few weeks later regarding a potential job position and invited to visit the Tekzenit office for a formal interview. As I was completing my finals I was unable to visit the office. Tekzenit was extremely understanding about my situation and arranged for a Skype interview. My second interview was slightly more formal, but as engaging and warm as my first interview. In addition to the interview I was also asked to complete a design challenge; A quick UX design exercise. The entire hiring process was a very pleasant experience and Tekzenit offered me constant help with my queries.
