First a screening call with in-house recruiter. Really nice talk and professional attitude, her questions were spot on.
Then a interview with ‘CPTO’ and, for a part of the interview, the tech recruiter again. It was hard to converse with the CPTO, I felt she didn’t listen to my answers, I had to repeat myself often. She focussed a lot on, in my opinion, outdated buzzwords (DRY, DOLID). It is self-evident to apply them (hygiene factor), should not be a checklist whether you can mention all the buzzwords in an interview. I felt the CPTO is out of touch with the industry and age group the has to hire in.
After the interview I decided to end the process, I didn’t want to work there nor with the CPTO.
