The phone interview was easy, I nailed it in my opinion. Then I was scheduled for an in-person interview at the office. I was placed in a small glass workroom, it was far from a professional and private area for interviews. Almost all of the chairs were broken and people were consistently walking past and staring as the interview was happening. I interviewed in 4 rounds with 5 different people. I thought it went fantastic and they all seemed happy to meet me - a few even told me that they were excited to work with me. After the interview, I was told that I would hear back by the end of the week or early next week. Well, I never heard back. I sent several follow-up emails to check-in on the status of hiring. Due to them being a start-up and everyone seemed scattered and flustered the majority of the time, I believe that hiring for this position is very low on their list.
