I interviewed with three different people of seniority within the department- all were very kind and professional. I was told a decision would be made within two weeks of my final interview. I followed up with thank you emails and was assured by the recruiter that I would hear something soon. When I didn’t, I reached out and got the same run around. I reached out a final time and was ignored. I understand that not all candidates meet the requirements the employer is seeking or perhaps just don’t mesh with the interviewers, leading to being forgotten or rejected. However, it is imperative that hiring managers and recruiters at the minimum, stick to their words and follow up. Our livelihoods are on the line when decisions about employment are made. If I were to hear from Tempus today, I would decline any offer.
