A friend of mine referred me. Due to a misunderstanding, I had not met one of the requirements. Recruiter told my friend about the requirement, who told me. But no one told me the call was canceled. It seems unprofessional to have someone wait for a call that was auto-reminded 24 hours before, assuming the word had trickled to me.
