I immediately rescinded my application after the interview. This was, by far, the most negative interview I've been on in my entire life. The hiring manager came across as a very negative person right from the first question and seemed more interested in pointing out what was wrong with all of my answers rather than actually getting to know me and the value I could bring to the company. Before she asked her first question I could see from her facial expression she had already decided she didn't like me. So why waste my time interviewing me? Not once did she say anything positive about my decades of skills and experience I bring to the table other than to say, "I imagine you could do the job" before attacking another one of my answers. She got offended that the reason I'm looking for a job didn't include a laundry list of all the reasons Tenable is such an amazing company. I'm a candid and genuine person and don't go into interviews to suck up to people to try to get a job. It's a transaction - I have skills and experience you need. Do you want to learn about them or not? Given this experience I would NEVER want to work at this company.
