Spoke with the DA and discussed goals and perspective on prosecution. Overall, a great experience and very smooth process designed to see how you really feel about the criminal justice system.
I was scheduled for an interview, and I emailed the day before to confirm we were still good to go. The secretary told me they had forgotten about my interview and would need to reschedule it... for another month. But I really thought it would be a great job, so I let another month of waiting tables go by. The interview was 20 minutes tops, and it was clear I was not a candidate for hire before I even sat down. I never heard back.
