applied online. followed-up by with a recruiter with my resume. received an email inviting me to a phone screening w/ a different recruiter. she called and described the position and then asked 4 questions. seemed like she was reading from a paper. everything she was going to say and ask was prepared. I preped for 2 days for this call, but she asked the ambiguity question a little differently than i expected and it threw me off. This is also a people leader position and I don't have experience as a people leader. Even after telling her that she asked the questions as if I'd been a manager. That threw me off as well. Tell me about your experience and why you would be good for this position? Why Tesla? Tell me about a time when you had to lead a team thru a change with ambiguity. (something like that) Tell me about a time you had to coach/council a team member that was underperforming.

Super quick interview with a recruiter, who said that I would be going onto next step. Completely ghosted me and didn't reply to two follow up emails . Not a good candidate experience at all

Completed a phone interview with the recruiter. Answered several questions. Went over expectations and requirements. Recruiter was very personable and made the interview process feel very relaxed. I would interview again if another position became available in my area.
