The first round interview was conducted by the hiring manager. It was fairly casual but also awkward because he set a long meeting but didn’t have a lot of questions prepared. I did my part by asking him a few things, making it conversational but he did say “don’t worry about my silence I’m thinking and reviewing your application.” For the second round interview, I was asked to prepare a presentation and be ready for questions. One of the panelists couldn’t attend so I presented to 2 people. The team wasn’t clear about when they’d be making a decision and mentioned they would follow up when they did. The hiring team wasn’t very clear about the skillset they desired between being novice or expert in certain things. I didn’t get the impression I was their top candidate and I didn’t hear back after a month so I decided to withdraw my application. Overall, I wish there was more enthusiasm, respect, and transparency from the TAMIDS hiring team.
