You need to go and talk with professors directly. Introduce yourself and demonstrate them your qualifications and hard work. It would be helpful if you have another professor recommend you.
It was a fun interview process! I got to meet the team and was shown the environment. I got a glimpse into the work culture in the office. It played a big factor in how much I liked the job.
Formal interview and professional! Met with professor in office and discussed goals and needs. Received an answer right then and there. Overall it is a fantastic opportunity to grow as a student.
