A single panel interview asking a series of 15 questions ranging from behavioral to relevant skills. Interviewers seemed bored/tired, didn’t make pleasantries, and went straight into questions, so it felt very cold. I asked some relatively standard follow-up questions, and they seemed either unprepared for them or like they were struggling to “sell” any potential for upward mobility (interviewers were either new or held the same positions for years).
Salary offer was inappropriate, unlivable, and nonnegotiable. It almost explains the interviewers behavior because the turnover from that alone probably has them interviewing for someone new every year.
