Texon Administrator interview questions

Recruiter set up interview very quickly after submitting my resume to Texon. Office location somewhat remote along the highway, but accessible. When I arrived, there was an office party in progress, so they changed the interview schedule. Interviewers were friendly, and anxious to meet me, and very quickly promised to call me for a second interview. Very positive feeling after discussing expectations, history, salary and mutual friends in business. However, they never called back. The recruiter made some silly excuse, but suspect that company and recruiting agency made a back door deal to offer up a cheaper, lower salary candidate to Texon (since my existing, more lucrative position at different company through the same recruiter had been extended).
