The interview process was very well handled. Pretty fast decision making, and the interviewers were very personable. It began with an online application and then you present pre-work to a panel if passed on to next stage.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Textron Aviation (Wichita, KS) in Feb 2017
Interview
The interview process was a bit challenging but the recruiter did an excellent job at branding herself and the corporation. The whole interview process was done over the phone and the process was done within about a month. It consisted of an informative interview, pre work assignment, then an 8 way conference call about my pre work assignment and my resume. The pre work assignment was a bit intimidating at first since I've never had to do this for an interview but it challenged me in a way that i really enjoyed and can't wait to see what textron has to offer for me this summer!
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Textron Aviation (Ames, IA) in Sep 2017
Interview
I spoke with a representative of the company at my school's engineering career fair, then received a call later that day that they'd like to speak with me again and therefore required a next day interview. I showed up to the interview, and since the interviewer had most of the same background as me and the same thoughts about the industry, the conversation was quite relaxed and candid. She was very open and clear about what I would be doing in this position if I were to pass the second interview process. The interview finished and she told me to expect a call to schedule a second interview.
