I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Textron
Interview
I went to my university's job fair, expecting to talk to multiple recruiters with Textron being one of them. I talked to the usual HR's about the aerospace industry and the overall environment/culture of Textron's many subsidiaries. One of my friends told me that the main hiring manager was going to be there, so like any employment-hungry engineer would, I waited to talk to him specifically. We talked and I guess he liked what he saw on my resume so he scheduled an interview with me in the following days. Come interview time, the first questions he asked were more on an informal basis and then he got into the "why" and "what" questions. He asked rather thorough question about my academic accomplishments and work experience, so it would be best to know your resume as in-depth as possible. After the interview, I waited about a week or two for a response. In the end, he told me that he moved on with another candidate. I never got to the second round.
