First contact was at a university career fair, and an on-campus interview. Textron brought all candidates down to Wichita for an "engineering" interview day. All candidates were entry-level engineers and there were a lot of positions open. They paid for all travel, hotel, and meals. After all the candidates had been transported to the Beechcraft activities center, there was about an hour of presentations about Textron's engineering department and a brief overview of HR stuff like benefits and relocation. Each candidate had 2 interviews with the hiring managers. These interviews were really laid-back and more of a conversation. After the interviews and a networking lunch, we were given a tour of Wichita.
