This was a 30-minute phone interview. It was arranged through email by someone in HR. The questions were very behavioral with a few technical questions to see that you knew exactly what their department did. As this is secondaries in private equity, it seemed that it was a rare job to find and so they wanted to make sure you knew about this industry and that you weren't just aiming to apply to every job possible. The interviewer spent a lot of time explaining about their history and how they got to their role. Then they asked the most important question, "why blackstone." She asked me about my background and specific questions relating to my experience and asked how I think this experience could be applied for the role at Blackstone. Overall, the conversation was very pleasant. I didn't get a call back though. I sent a thank you email and tried to follow up but did not receive any response.
