I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Borgen Project (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2018
Interview
Few questions regarding experience and outlining the project. Asked about global poverty and why you want to join their organization in particular. Nothing is too hard and the guy was very friendly. Overall it was one of the better interviews I have had with a company looking for an intern
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Borgen Project (New York, NY) in Jun 2020
Interview
Submitted a resume and writing samples through Handshake and was contacted about a week later. Asked to finish a writing assessment for the writing position and a quick test on the organization for the non-content oriented position. The test took about 10 minutes and the writing assessment took a couple hours. Had an interview a few days later, had to be rescheduled for unknown reasons. Interview itself was fairly painless and the interviewer was friendly.
