Had an initial phone interview with a member of The Boring Company's human resources team for the Civil Engineer position in Vegas. The conversation was mainly about whether or not I understood what a grandiose project they were undertaking and to find out if I would work extended hours on salary. The interviewer barely asked me anything about my background and skills. He didn't offer much when I asked what I'd be doing on a day-to-day, details in regards to the team I'd be working with, nor any information on the office and how it was set up. This is an unproven company, not just in tunneling, but furthermore in the Las Vegas Valley. The interview didn't convince me of anything different.
