I only did my first round of interview with the talent acquisition recruiter, she introduced the team and role first. Then asked me about my experience, followed by some technical question

Question 1
Tell me one time that you used a unconventional method to solve a problem with limited resources
One brief screening call with a recruiter and then two straightforward technical interviews. I didn't feel like I was being grilled too hard-- mostly basics of engineering, intuition to arrive at simple relations. Some hydrodynamics. Anything I didn't know, I just explained my thought process and they seemed satisfied.

Question 1
Basic hydrodynamics principles: first a simple piston-cylinder problem, then a more complicated and nuanced one. I was unsure but they were just looking for my reaction and reasoning.
Relation between Hooke's law and the stress-strain equation (Young's Modulus as the effective "spring constant" was all they were looking for).
