I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Boring Company (Bastrop, TX)
Interview
It was a fairly typical process minus the final 8pm phone call interview. There was an onsite visit and credentials presentation to entire team. Seemed a bit disorganized after being handed off by initial HR screening.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Boring Company (Austin, TX) in May 2022
Interview
The Boring Company ghosted me hardcore. I applied in April 2022 and had three interviews before coming on-site. First had basic engineering questions, the second had a few riddles, the third had more in-depth engineering questions. I was then invited for an on-site interview and asked to provide the soonest I would be available. I provided two options and waited a week before hearing back as I had those dates on hold unable to commit to other requests. I was eventually asked to actually come down and prepare a presentation. I came on-site and things went pretty smoothly. The person I talked to said I would hear back by Monday, it was Friday at the time. I followed up with an email inquiring about the status of my candidacy Wednesday and received no reply. One more a week later and nothing. Stringing candidates out like that causes a lot of disruptions in their lives. I hope they are more sensitive to other candidates.
