Interview
I applied to Buckle online, and received an automatic email the next morning saying they were interested in an interview and to call the number provided. I scheduled it for the next day. I was greeted very nicely and when I said I had an interview I was told to hang around the store while the interviewer finished up with someone else. A few minutes later I was interviewed, which was only a couple minutes. She asked me things like what goals I wanted to accomplish in the next year, how I keep up with fashion, and how I would respond to certain customer situations. About two days later I got another automatic email telling me I wasn't selected. I had decided by that point that I would decline the job anyway after doing some research on this site though!

Question 1
What do you think you have to add to the store that we're missing?
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.

Interview
Very simple. No behaviour questions. It was basically all about me. We talked about hobbies, availability, college plans. It was like a fun conversation and not a hard, daunting, scary interview.

They bring you in to ask basic interview questions. Make sure you completely dress the part. I was told before the interview by an associate that I should wear clothes they sell there. She didn't go into detail but I take that as they won't hire you if you don't.
