I got two interviews with Good Feet. The first was with a Talent Acquisition Specialist on the phone. Pretty standard interview questions, it did include one role play scenario and once done, I was coached on some things I could've done better. Bit weird to be coached before even working for them. But I got moved on and was given a layout on the timeline. Basically, next with a District Manager, followed by another and then hopefully a job offer. So off to the second interview, this one with a District Manager. With this one being on Teams, they specifically asked me to ensure my tech was in working order so the interview could start on time and without interruption.
Interview time came and went. Only about 5 minutes after it was supposed to start did the District Manager get on, no apology was offered for being late, only "Technical Difficulties". The interview itself was almost carbon copy of the phone interview, only this one had 2 role play questions instead of just one. I was to role play an HR scenario in which a top sales performer can't complete paperwork and close a difficult sale. Again, I was coached on what I did that they didn't like. I asked about pay and benefits, the District Manager couldn't give me specifics, not on PTO or the rate of pay, only referring me back to the Talent Acquisition Specialist. The job was also listed as Confidential and when I asked about why, the District Manager told me to "read between the lines".
Lots of red flags here. It's been a full on week since that interview and I've not heard back from them. Even if I did, I'd turn down any further engagement. They:
1) ask from other what they themselves can't give. i.e. make sure your tech works, but we don't have too.
2) can't be transparent about why things are hush hush
3) leaders don't know very basic information about the job. i.e. not knowing rate of pay or how much PTO people accrue
A few more. Just be wary. This company also has a reputation for being kinda scammy with their products and return policy.
