I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at The Hartford in Feb 2016
Interview
Though I was called for an interview, the lead up to this process was enough to tell me that I was not interested any longer. I was told that if I did not reveal my present salary, that I could not move forward. Then, they moved forward any way when I told them "no." So they basically just LIED to me right there. Then, I was arranged for THREE consecutive interviews, all at different times. This process did not feel candidate friendly and unfortunately "clouded" my view of what The Hartford was. Several of my family members have the Hartford, and I had a very positive view of the company prior to this experience. I will take my talents elsewhere to a company that "gets" how to treat employees instead of creating a "we are the employer, you do what we tell you and you will grovel in our candidate pipeline." Only those employers that get you, deserve you.
