I applied through college or university. I interviewed at The Hartford
Interview
My internship advisor sent out my resume and I received a response within 3 days. Then the recruiter scheduled a phone interview with me that lasted about half an hour. She asked me a lot of situational questions and what I've been doing in school. From then, I received an email for an onsite interview. This lasted about 45 minutes and was held by two team members. They were both very interested in me and what kind of experience I had in the past (not necessarily relating to the position). They did not ask that many questions, we mostly talked back and forth about my past work experience and my school coursework. Not a difficult interview, very friendly and inviting atmosphere.
It wasn't very hard overall. The questions mainly covered basic SQL, DSA, and OOP concepts. Anyone with a decent understanding of these fundamentals should be able to solve them comfortably.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Hartford in Feb 2025
Interview
First was a phone screening with HR. Then I had three interviews with three different team members, about 30 minutes each. It was mainly behavioral and resume questions. Nothing too technical. Answered all of my questions that I had.
Had high hopes for interview. But turns out interviewer came late to the interview. Interview was rushed and was told I would hear back via email or phone call in the next couple of weeks. No response for almost 4 months. So overall, heard good things about the company but the interview made me question it. At least inform us of a decision in less 3 weeks.
