I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Hartford in Oct 2022
Interview
Honestly the worst interview I’ve ever had. The recruiter called me and right off the bat was very bland and showed zero interest. She asked me to tell her about myself, so I did and then she asked what my salary expectations were and that was it. No further questions for me. At this point the call was about 4 minutes long, so I asked her a couple of questions, to which she replied “that’d be a question to ask the hiring manager.”
I understand a “vetting process” but what was the point of talking to her if she had no idea what I was talking about or could not answer a simple question about the department. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience as I know she will not send me off to the hiring manager to move forward, as she showed such little interest and seemed like she only took the call cus I had scheduled it at the beginning of the week and was obligated to.
